Performed for a parade today. Temps in my locality were in the upper ’80s-low ’90s, but fortunately our band used a canopy cover on our bandwagon and there was a nice breeze blowing in off the lake. (A lot of people in the crowd got a big kick out of our tuba player, who has a white beard. He wore a Santa Claus hat, and between numbers I joked to the crowd, “It’s in honor of the ‘Christmas in July’ sales.)
