My D3 Women’s Volleyball connection is marking his 5th anniversary on WordPress today! (West Region Blog). Really liked the VB-related give and take we’ve exchanged over the last year. I provide some balance from East Region action. D3 Iowa and Wisconsin squads and potential underdogs. (I’ve even been tempted to try to outdo him in a stats contest, but –on second thought, he’d beat me every time, hands down.) I should have started my Statistics Loss articles shortly after UW-Eau Claire knocked off Calvin to take the ’21 D3 Title. –then maybe I’d have got most of the rest of the regions in–kind of like the story below.
My HS band director once told about how a drum and bugle corps group started working on Year B’s drill the day after Year A’s schedule was complete. A trumpet player asked him “Why don’t we do that?” The director smiled and laughed the comment off.
